Good day sa inyo guys. Fresh Grad ko ug Civil Engineering. Nahan unta ko mukuha ug masteral guys. Naa bay mga scholarship na musupport if mag masteral? Then naay earthquake engineering na offer diri sa pilipinas guys? Kung mukuha ba ko ug masteral kinahanglan ba pasarun sa naku ang board exam? Please I need ug advice sa katung mga the same ug field naku. Salamat daan.

wa ko ga-masteral kay walay ayong mag-masteral dili kaayo magamit sa trabaho, unless magpadako rako ug sweldo or mag-teach ka...di kailangan mo-pasar ug board and ang DOST naa silay program nga pwede mo-support nimo...i think kung engineering murag P10k or P15k ang support ila hatag per month....

bitaw ts, para unsa ang imung masteral? mao ra gihapon na ig-abot nmu sa field, 15k to 20k ang starting salary sa civil (if daku nga company ha) pero kung mag-teach ka aw masteral jud.

Teaching while nag masteral pero kung adto ka ug mga private sector I suggest dili na lng ka mag masteral kay dili na kaau na mo matter ang imong masteral. Mas mo matter pa guro ang imong previous work experience..

mura di paman guro licensed si TS, mas maayu pa unaha na ang licensed TS... di jud lalim sa isa ka company kung di ka licensed...

In general, I would suggest nga ayaw kaayo pagdali ug Masteral, TS. Work experience is a lot more valuable in the field of engineering.

Maayo na mag masteral ka TS. Pero mas maayo nga before ka mag masteral kay mag experience usa ka 5 yrs or more. Kung mu eskwela ka masteral karon, imo mga kauban sa klase mga nka experience na. Dile ka mka relate sa mga gtudlo sa professor. Best time jud mag masteral kay if naa nka work experience para ma relate dayon nimo sa actual imo makat unan sa masteral.

First as far as I know licensed engineers get better chances of landing a job compared to those who did not pass. Second working for government offices like DPWH or PHIVOLCS, although not guaranteed, can give you scholarships for a masteral degree. Teaching in schools can also give you opportunities.

DOST offers scholarships for engineering degrees. 17k ang stipend per month but I think it will increase to 20k by next year. ERDT ang pangalan sa scholarship. Btw, idea lang. Bati mag masters if magplan ra ka muadtog industry. If you plan to be a professor, then masters is the way to go.
