    Default Just a curious question?

Mga masters do you have any idea how to create a deadpixel to your LED tv or Monitor on purpose but without breaking them?

But why would I want to create a dead pixel? you know what I mean, most warranty for LCD's sucks, it requires 3-5 dots or more on my LCD screen before I can claim the warranty.

Your idea is greatly appreciated. Matsalams!

Why not let it burn out? Let it display red or green indefinitely in the highest brightness and contrast setting until it finally fails.

I'm not so sure why it requires 3-5 dots/dead pixel to send your unit for a warranty. The fact is, even if there is just "1" dead pixel on your monitor/led tv is already considered as defective.

I think murag si bro lloyd man cguro to ang naay Hanns.G nga monitor iya napalit then he found nga naay 1 dead pixel sa iyang monitor then gi replace ra pd sa shop kung asa nya gpalit, sakto ba bro @lloyd_joy ?

@wylliexhan: Yes bro sa newegg nako napalit ang akon monitor pero naay global warranty. Pero it requires 3-5 dots or more aron ma claim akong warranty.

Mao nangita ko ug way unsaon nako pag claim sa warranty. Anyways, it wont matter as long as there is dead pixel then its good to go.

You are the customer, you may insist and ask them why it requires 3-5 dots because that's a no excuse or a valid reason for me because as far as I know it is already considered as defective even if it's just 1 dead pixel found. You may not know that single dot causes more problem in the future. The question is, does that make any difference if it's just "1" dead pixel compared to "3-5" dead pixels why you can't send it for warranty? I think it doesn't make any difference whether it is 1, 2, 3 ,4 or millions, It's still a dead pixel and the fact is it's defective.

@wylliexhan: I understand. But based on their policies, there is nothing I can do. I already did that, but no luck. What I am trying now is a way to resolve this.

Thanks and if anyone has a bright idea would be appreciated. Thanks

I think it's not a good policy, let's just say for example in the future that "single" dot causes the problem why your LED TV got damage and your unit it's no longer covered under warranty, so does that mean it's already your fault why your LED TV got damage? In the first place, it's them who denied your warranty, so it's their liability.

My question is still not answered why it requires less than 5 pixels so that you can send your unit for a repair. I think it's maybe because it is hard to guarantee with a panel with 0 dead pixel and producing a new LED Panel would mean the cost and this defective panel what you have would have to be destroyed. Let's wait for our experts here. If I am the customer, that is totally not acceptable to me. They should replace it with a new panel.

Ok mga bros thanks sa inputs. Pero lets not just talk about warranties here, I need your expertise on how to CREATE DEAD PIXEL to your LED TV or monitor w/o breaking it. If that's they want, then so be it. I will return this LED according to the policy. Yes, they're not a good LCD brand and I will not buy from them anymore.
