By ‘free-energy’ I mean energy sources which are free to use and for which you do not have to pay.
Obvious sources of free-energy are sunlight, rainfall, wind energy, wave power and tidal power.

And also there are these: Other sources of power such as gravity, electrical charge in the atmosphere and ionosphere, and a massive, almost unknown energy field sometimes called the “zero-point energy field”.

yeah, what came to my mind with "free energy" is energy that can just be conjured out of n0where...much like the zer0-point energy.
I am thinking about the ZPM (Zero Point Module) featured in Stargate Atlantis...hehehe.
