assign private IP on your DVR,configure NAT on your firewall/router. maybe u need static IP from your ISP.
either you need static public IP from your ISP or you can use dynamic DNS (DynDNS).
your router should also be capable of port forwarding or DMZ.
DVR brand? most branded dvrs have now dyn dns hosting for clients who dont have static ip
yes naa say DVR nga naa kaugalingon nga domain,, pero kasagaran karon gamit jud ug domain labi natong di kaya ang branded nga DVR
Sa karon wa na ko mag gamit ug mga dyndns kay double na ang bayad..sa mga new release sa dvr kay naa nman P2P connection which is serial # sa dvr ang gamiton para mka remote access ka..try to read about DIPS..
assign kag ip sa imong DVR pre nga way gagamit lain then take note of that ip address and the media port after that access ka sa imong modem or router para mag port forwarding ka.
after that try nimo kung abli naba imong port Open Port Check Tool using the media port and take note sa imong external ip, ma static or dynamic theres always a way depende lang gyud sa budget![]()
There are lots of cloud dvr/cctv setups nowadays... no need for portforwarding or use of ddns services.
You can check out the people at Nutech Solutions, they have this very affordable cloud cctv package (4 cams) for less than 15k. Guaranteed will work on internet connection with dynamic IPs.
