"8-Beat Skip " is a new function that lets you search forwards or backwards by eight beats, letting you start or repeat choreography.
When dancers do their thing, they usually choreograph using a normal 8-count.
But STEEZ is different from existing audio devices, letting you jump forwards and backwards 8 beats at a time. Now you can break it down beat by danceable beat, searching out the moves you want then and there.
""Cue"" lets you start dancing from any playback point you like.
Up to now, rewinding back and forth to the points in a song you wanted was tough, but with STEEZ, it's a snap to search for the places in a song you want to go over. Not only that, but you can search 8 beats at a time, letting you keep the rhythm.
""Tempo Control"" changes the tune tempo as desired without changing the pitch. This is especially useful for starting dance practice slowly, then picking up the pace.
Up to now, choreography that wasn't going well had to be practiced to beat counts without music.
With STEEZ, even practice can be cool, letting you rehearse along to the music.
You can select your music library easily thanks to the Pioneer-exclusive technology MIXTRAX and transfer to a STEEZ.
You can also enjoy a non-stop ""DJ-MIX"", letting you automatically mix sounds and beats as seamlessly as a DJ would.
The player adds effects on its own, fading music in & out using various mix patterns, and synchronizing the melodies and beats of your jams. It automatically selects tracks with similar tempos and tones.
""Auto Battle Mode"" is the first of its kind to automate all of the time management, letting you choose battle songs and crossfade songs smoothly by simply setting the battle time and dance genre. Now you can enjoy battles that used to need a DJ or time keeper anytime you want.
