Computer crashes when streaming videos

Hello amigos,

Common problem siguro ni sa uban but I need help to solve this problem.

Ang problem kay mag sige crash if magstream ko ug videos sa internet. Labi na if naay gi download sa torrent. I already tried minimizing to one tab and one video at a time, then i-stop ang torrent. Pero sometimes mukalit lng jud freeze den unresponsive na dayon ang computer. Black screen lng. Dili na mg-restart unless i unplug nko ang power cable den plug again.


How to solve this problem?


Would it help if mag-add ko ug RAM?


Or palit ko videocard?


Or mada ra ne dad-on sa shop para palimpyohan. The reason I am asking is, dili ko ganahan mag spend anything extra na dili man maoy solution sa problema.

Chipset AMD 780G


CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250


RAM: single 4Gig DDR3


With integrated GPU

overheating - check how dirty your internal parts are, especially cpu and gpu fans. clean.

ram problems - check with memtest86+ or similar ram testers.

weak/bad sectors on hdd - check SMART status.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry now lng ko nka log in balik. As for update: As for now maka experience pa japun ko ug crashes na mga black screen na xa while watching videos.

To answer your question, dili xa mag off bisan i press ang power button. The only way na ma-switch off xa for restart is for me to pull the power plug.

Ako ginabuhat now is just avoid watching videos while daghan tabs nka open. coz maybe dili mkakaya ang hardware sa ako pc.

Another thing is suspect is that these are hacking attacks. Coz i even experience it with "unsafe" websites. Also while downloading torrent. I honestly dont know if people can use torrent files to hack into ur computer while ga download lang. I did read somewhere na flash can be hijacked.

Problems you encountered could either be a software or a hardware issue.

First try to troubleshoot on the software side, before troubleshooting on the hardware side.

On the software side troubleshooting what I can recommend:

-> run virus scan
-> perform disk cleanup
-> run disk error scans
-> uninstall unnecessary programs
-> update your drivers
-> update video card driver
-> update bios/firmware
-> perform clean boot by disabling 3rd party apps
-> trying running your PC in safe mode and try playing video if it crashes
-> if mao ghapon ang problema then last option is to reinstall your OS nlng gyud, backup your files first

If re installing OS doesn't help you then that's the time you need to proceed if hardware ba ang problema..

Reinstall ur browser. Update Flashplayer and other browser components.

Dont take it negatively, pero jurassic na imo hardware. It is about time to move on to newer platform.

i came across a similar problem not so long ago. morestart ang pc during video streaming on an LGA775 computer. i basically did most of the troubleshooting sa software but to no avail. ang akong gibuhat was i changed to a different Windows OS after that the system worked flawlessly
