I made this thread so we could follow his rise from playing in Cathedral HS to a US NCAA school and possibly to the NBA.
Just today, he received his best offer yet:
6-6 Kobe Paras #Cathdral has just picked up an offer from #UCLA. @Im_Not_Kobe super Hot in 2016.
And here's some of the teams who already made an offer to Kobe:

Arizona State produced the likes of James Harden and Byron Scott.
While of course, UCLA has produced some of the best players to ever set foot in the NBA: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Gail Goodrich, Reggie Miller, Bill Walton, Jamaal Wilkes, Kevin Love, and Russell Westbrook, to name a few.
Strengths: (from ESPN Basketball Recruiting)
Paras is an athletic wing-type who plays with great energy. He is a terror in the open court where he attacks the rim with a vengeance. He can slash his way exhibiting excellent body control or power his way through contact. His 1st step is quite potent when attacking the rim.
Kobe is 17 years old and could still add some more to his 6'6 height.
Is this just hype, or is he really the future of Philippine Basketball?
Will he make it all the way to the NBA?
Your thoughts?
