Never been opened and/or repaired. No issues/defects other than the volume spiking when adjusting the volume knob (a common problem with ATP3's, which has been fixed by putting rubber bands to hold up and "tighten" the knob, in turn giving you a more precision when adjusting the volume. You can still remove the rubber bands with no problems though, the volume spiking issue is intermittent and only occurs when you adjust the knob anyways.)
