lamdagi intawn ko ninyu, and right now diay gamit nako ani nga cooler kay deepcool gammaxx 200 need ba ko
magpalit ug new cpu cooler to cater the temp incase ma unlock all 4 cores??

last question, unlocking these cores, is it the same as overclocking?? hehehehe la pako ka try ma g OC gud

MSI 990FX G43 you mean? Before diving into a new cooler make sure sa na pwede ma-unlock na imo sample. Unlocking is different from overclocking but you could say that it has produces the same effects once done. It add to the temps and power consumption.

It is unlockable but it doesn't mean it's stable. Some would not even unlock in the first place. AMD has locked those cores for a reason so you have to find out first if they are good cores or a dud.

I unlock sya per core. Naay possibility nga 3cores ra ma-unlock, Naa pud possibilty all cores specially katong binned chips para mameet ang demand sa Dual core. After unlock sa bios, tan-awa if makaboot ka to windows. If makaboot to windows prime95 torture test dayon. I monitor if walay errors i monitor pud ang temps. If motouch gani sya ug maximum operating temperture tryi ug bigger cooler. Kung stable na ang temps, torture test for at least 8 hours kung wala ba errors.

The cores are disabled for a reason. Pwede defective ang other cores resulting to cpu errors or unstable ang temps if active ang tanang cores or pwede pud binning lang jud para mameet ang demands. Mas nindot ug imong sample kay mahulog sa last nga category.

Naa ko experience before sa akong Athlon II X3 440 (Rana) unlocks to Athlon II X4 B40 (Propus) sadly di mosuport akong motherboard ug above 95Ws TDP. Itx pajud ako set-up so no room for beefier cooler.

As far as I know. Tanang chipset 780G above mosupport ug core unlocking. I double check lang sa bios. Regarding sa CPU support kaya ra sa imong mobo ang 125W TDP CPU. Murag 8+2 phase(di ko sure) man sad na imong VRM wala lay heatsinks.. (4+1 ra diay. Tryi lang ug unlock basin pa diay)
