I'm a faithful but just asking..

Can lawyers become lawyers without praying?
Can doctors become doctors without praying?
Can nurses and other professions be acheived without prayers?
Can prayers bring the sun and not rain when prayed for?

Most of the time they are only ask for strength and guidance, they will do what they have to do, there are a lot of unforeseen predicaments ahead that sometimes are beyond the grasp of human ability and knowledge. I think the pious ones do.

I know an atheist. He told me nga ang religion daw nasugod daw na kay para naay ma tubag ang tao sa mga butang nga di niya masabtan. Ang iya example kay sa unang panahon daw nga ignorante daw ang tao, wa siya kasabot nganu mo ulan ug nganu mo init. Mao na nag buhat sila ug higher being nga nag buot daw kung kanus.a mag ulan og mo init.

Mao rapud iya tan.aw. I'm not saying I believe him or I don't. I have my own thoughts and opinions about religion, I pray and I do my stuff pud but dili magsalig nga maabot ang gipangayo kung mag pray.

There are millions of those people who are practicing those professions you have mentioned who don't "pray" and/or "atheists".

for me prayer have a big role in our life since God teach us to pray so whatever we are doing we will ask God's guidance. As what the bible says in John 15:5 (KJB CE) ".....for without me ye can do nothing."

For your question no.1-3 - prayer has actually helped these people psychologically achieving their goals.

There are some who offer trays of eggs to 'carmelite' to have what they claim as 'good weather' during fiestas..
