Just next to Chika-an in Salinas Drive, this high-ceiling restaurant gives you
rustic feel with the old brick interior as you stepped into this modern kitchen.

Their menu ranges from 60php to 1,100 php:

    Starters 175-250
    Soups and Salads 140-275
    Sandwich - 160-230
    Pasta - 210-290
    Entree - 230-370
    Desserts - 60-190
    Breakfast til 5pm - 95-190
Smoothies and Fruit Juices - 95-120
    Drinks - 60-150
    Wine - 500-1,100

After three attempts of trying this place out, I was lucky tonight that I was third
in the waiting list. I even told myself, this better be worth the wait hehehe

True enough, Brique never failed me with their food and their impeccable service

I'll post my photos and my take on their menu in a teeny bit, trying to
salvage my memory real fast lols

Those who have tried Brique, feel free to share your experience. Bad reviews
are also welcome so they can improve on areas that need a lil tweaking

    A sampling of their food

    SMOOTHIE
    OPM Blend
    - Orange juice, pineapple and mango
    - 95 php

Rich in citrus flavor, totally refreshing, it's like having a tropical island right in your happy glass

    STARTERS
    Spanish Chorizo and Mushroom Dip
    - sautéed Spanish Chorizo with mushrooms and fresh Mozzarella in white sauce
    - 175 php

Never thought Spanish Chorizo and Mushroom can make a good marriage
of flavors, prolly the cheese made it a perfect dip. Definitely a good jump
    start to your meal

    ENTREE
    Southern Fried Chicken
    - Chicken breast filled served with country-style gravy
    - 260 php

It tasted so good as it looked and smelled!
With the right crisp of their skin, tender and flavorful meat and
the gravy so sinfully creamy and spicy at the same time. You
should try this dish if you're a fan of chicken
Downside is their gravy is served in a small container

Their chicken up-close... If you can only smell the good aroma, you'll be famished!

    DESSERTS
    Bibingka Crème Brülée
    - a local spin of Creme brûlée made with coconut cream
    - 60 php

I call this a dreamy creamy sweet drug that teases your tongue

    Fudged S'mores
    - fudge brownie with graham cracker crust topped with torched mallows
    - 80 php

    Make your own S'mores!
A yummy way to get your hands dirty

    Southern Fried Chicken Tip
    - you can ask for another helping of their gravy
but on the third gravy, it's no longer free. Their
    gravy costs 20php per serving

    Fudged S'mores Tip
    - I couldn't resist but ask the staff if they make their
own graham crackers since they looked rather odd,
not the usual ones we get from the market. They
told me that they got those crackers from Kaffe Alde

Truffled shoestring fries were good. Liked the Brique chops more than the Angus. Will have to try the chicken next.
