Thread: Build Approval

    Default Build Approval

Good Day. I'm planning to build a pc next month or maybe by the next two months with a budget of 25k-30k.

Here is the specification list of my ITX rig.

    MOBO: Asrock H81M-ITX
    CPU: Intel i3-4150
HDD: 1Tb Western Digital Caviar Blue 64Mb 7200RPM
    RAM: 4Gb Corsair Vengeance CL9 DDR3 1600Mhz
PSU: Thermaltake Smart SE 530W Semi Modular PSU
    GPU: Zotac 750Ti 2GB GDDR5 128Mb
CASE: JONSBO V3+ Silver (Not Included on Budget because item is on hand.)

    Optional:
    Cooler:
    Silverstone NT06 Pro
(Cooler Height = 82mm, i am restricted to 80mm Cooler Height)
(Kailangan ku mag SFX PSU kung magNT06 ku)

*If i would build a Devil's Canyon Rig, what are your suggestions?
*Any suggestions on what to change with my rig without exceeding budget stated?

    ill lower your budget.
you dont need fancy cooler for an i3. spend money elsewhere.
wala pa ko ka agi og i3 with heating problems. haswell 4130 has no heating problems. i run my 4130 at full load for 2-3 hours not even 70 deg on stock cooler.

Doesn't hurt to invest in a good aftermarket cooler but probably you can just stick to stock HSF and get another 4GB stick of RAM to make it 8GB... For me, that's a better way to go...

As for the PSU, I am not really familiar with TT's but would like to suggest Seasonic (G series) or Silverstone... 400 watts will be more than enough for your rig so find one if you can, else, don't go beyond 500 watts kay dili na cost effective... It's just a waste of power and efficiency... Point is, get the highest rated PSU in terms of efficiency that you can afford rather than getting the highest of all "watts" that you can find (e.g. Platinum 400 watts vs. Bronze 700 watts and above)...

My take about DC, don't build one... rather, just wait for Broadwell and DDR4 equipped non HEDT platform...

well the cooler is only optional sir. hence, it is not included on my budget yet.

i forgot to state that, i'm only buying one stick of RAM because i already have one stick existing. I'm also planning to sell the old the stick to buy a 2x4Gb ram kit.

Do you have data on how much the Seasonic G-450 costs? because the TT only costs 2.1k.

The cooler is only optional sir. i'm planning to start on i3 for now and upgrade later to an i5 proc. well it would be better if the cooler is already available before upgrading to an i5 proc.

think of it this way, buying a cooler will delay your i5....

murag wala pako kita og 450 watts, G-550 akong kasagaran nakit-an... mga 4k na... mahal2x gyud na kay Gold category naman... you can still opt for Seasonic bronze (M12II or non modular S12II)... or Silverstone Essential series...

I strongly suggest you invest more on your PSU... mao gyud ni commonly overlooked and underestimated part sa computer... which is in fact, one of the most important kay mao ra nay mag buhi sa imong tanan parts...

sulayi pangita ug Antec Earth Watts platinum. Modular na pud na and cheapest is around 3k+ if I'm not mistaken. TBH I'd recommend the CM Thunder over anang TT Smart, cause di ko familiar sa OEM ana. Rest of the build looks fine. If naay extra pang cooler, invest in one medyo init na kay naka enclose sa itx case.

kun naa lang available na mga Antec NeoEco 400W & 450W PSU or bisan Antec VP350W dha sa atoa or any other true rated PSU na range ug 250W to 450W lang unta dha sa atoa, nice gyud unta kaayo...

isa ka GTX 750 Ti GPU kay gaan ra kaayo na... kun i-measure sa mains using a power meter, mura'g ang whole rig w/ an i3-4150 ug kanang gi mention na HW ni TS, less than 120 W lang nya siguro sya... nag base ko's akoang gi measure na minig rig nko na 134 ~ 138 W lang from the wall (dual GTX 750 Ti, 160 HDD 7,200 rpm, G1620, 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz)... running at full load ang GPUs minig X11... kun nag game ko (isa ka GTX 750 Ti ang pwede gamiton sa game man pud), basin, mga 120 W lang siguro gyud or less kay gamit man ang CPU pud during gaming... sa mining, setting pretty ra man ang CPU...

pero, para safe kay mag plan raba si TS ug upgrade to an i5 CPU later on... unda K variant for OC'ing, safe side sya if ang PSU kay 400 ~ 450 W true rated... bisan 80+ certified lang, kumbate na ni kaayo... gamaya ra pud model sa PSU na ma pili-an dha sa atoa pud hinoon oi... mahal pa gyud... well wla ta'y mahims... mao man gyud na sya ang SRP dha sa Pinas... so, no choice but to ride the wave...
