Davao City – A P3-billion world-class sports facility will be operational on the last quarter of 2015 here, according to Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy.
Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, said that the “King Dome” would help the city to become the forefront of sports.
“This will be the most modern coliseum in the country,” Quiboloy stressed.
Believed to be the biggest sports facility in the country, the “King Dome” is a 65,000-seat sports facility on an 18-hectare land near the F. Bangoy International Airport, here.
“With such facility, we will be able to support and gather talents in the country. We will make Davao the forefront of all sports, especially in boxing,” Quiboloy said.
Quiboloy also said that the “King Dome” would be their biggest contribution to the city.
Meanwhile, six professional and amateur boxers from Mindanao signed an exclusive contract under the management of former North Cotabato Governor Emmanuel Piñol and Pastor Quiboloy.
Piñol said that with their partnership with the Sonshine Sports Management, they will provide all the benefits that the boxers deserve, and they will be hiring foreign trainers for the boxers.
Quiboloy also added that, “We will support them since my heart is into sports development. We will be the backbone of these boxers.”
