Default HDMI Connection from my Desktop to my HD LED TV

Guys, question lang. Does connecting my desktop through HDMI to my HD LED TV eat a lot of memory for my PC? Dili man ngali no? Kay its not like Im using the TV man as monitor, its juz an extension diba?

Not the pc ram memory bro, pero ang imu graphic card bro(pila res. sa imu tv?)
kinahanglan ka ug taas-taas nga video card nga maka support sa imu 1080p led tv para dile mu degrade ang refresh rate sa imu gaming or movie.

BOOSHYET! Really? Kay diba when I connect through HDMI, the TV is juz an extension man, ang main monitor nako kay ang kanang sa desktop lang man gihapon. 40 something inch ang TV nako, so I believe its 1080p dyud to. Kay nag connect ko, nag function lang man gihapon ang desktop monitor nako. Unless maybe if I use my TV as the main monitor ngali by connecting the video cable directly.

memory as in RAM, i don't think so... if it will, negligible... maybe sa GPU RAM, but still, gamay ra kaayo na compared to when you are gaming...

in terms of power consumption, kung Nvidia na imo GPU, then you're lucky, single and multi-monitor sa Nvidia has very little difference... kung AMD na, multi monitor tends to consume more power...

pero generally, pwede ra gyud kaayo na... mag extend desktop ka lang... or you can disconnect physically kung dili nimo actively used as dual monitor...

mao na akong buhat, though gamay lang nga TV ako...
