sa akong nakita since wala paman ko 1150 na proce..akoang nakita sa net ug sa buy n sell dri kay copper base siya..hmm dugay dugay nasd ko wala kakita sa intel ug copper base na hsf..mostly kato sauna tag-as tog wattage or init daw ko ..init daw kono ha dli ko sure....

ask ko karon sa kani na 1150 na socket y mn ge balik nila na copper base? init ba sd kaha ni or dili?

i stand corrected but way back circa lga 775, intel decided to reduce the size of their heatsinks to reduce costs, and instead supplied a faster fan. the pentium 4's had an aluminum heatsink with an aluminum core. sometime Pentium D or core2duo times i think intel started using copper cores to transmit heat better from the CPU to the aluminum heatsink, by making the heat ink more efficient, they were able to reduce the height of their heat sinks in general.

about socket 1150, yes it kinda runs a bit hotter than im comfortable with. my bnew 13-4130 at the office runs 72deg on prime 95, although this is nowhere near the cpu's allowable max temp, comparatively socket 1150 runs hotter at least compared to my old rig which was a sandy bridge i3.
