If you want to lose weight, better ang high reps and low weight. But if you want to gain mass, better ang low reps and heavy weights.

the usual convention is 8-12... anything lower than this is strength training, higher is endurance training..
btw, the number represents the maximum rep when you can't move any further. pick a weight that can make you move UNTIL that number and almost impossible to do another more
complicated question kau na..if naa ky personal training thn siya nag himo sa imong program mybe mka sugest siya or maka answer siya sa imong question.. then if wala ky instructor..do the basic analisis lang..if u think walay emprovemnt then make another program for u..aftr 3 months..or pakig amigo ug dugay na nag gym..alteast exprience iyng e todlo nimo
High Reps low weights pa Firm..minimal Reps heavy weights pang pa hubag na.. Just like Running kong long Distance running imo like halfmarathon, FullMarathon and Ultramarathon pang kupos ni sa lawas..pero kong Sprinter ka grabeh pangusog ani full forced mao managko ang paa nya og oban nga part sa lawas..
ako usually kay ani man gud.. two sets of 15 (so 30 tanan) on mostly ako upperbody ma lift ani kay 75lbs. exept for my back(150lbs.), tricepts(90lbs.) and for my lower two sets gahapon of 15 pero mas bugat on average about somewhere 75lbs~130lbs. for my abs i do 3 sets of 20.. mostly crunches
