I am assuming that the PC in question is able to access the Internet? Give VNC a shot, available at http://www.realvnc.com/. You need to know her IP address. If she is working behind a router or firewall, some workarounds are available. I have tried VNC from my office to my home computer, before my ISP put up firewalls etc. My wife was off from work that day and I just took a peek at the computer activity--- she was shopping around for stuff---at which point I called her and pointed out the price on the web page Really, one installs the VNC client on the client computer, and the VNC software on the target computer, and once the connection is established, the target computer's desktop pops up on the client computer, and you can pretty much do anything with the target computer --- with slow connections, expect a sloooowwww response.

BTW, I did a quick search---this has been addressed in another forum, e.g., https://www.istorya.net/forums/index.php?topic=32737.0. Just do a search for "VNC" over at the software forum.

sakto si bayoupinoy, remote control nalang nimo iya pc..
anyway, realvnc is free and quite easy to configure..

ug dynamic iya ip address, you could register her to no-ip.com for free, and install the no-ip duc application on her pc which will keep track of her ip address. this way all you have to enter in your vnc viewer is the domain you registered with no-ip e.g. her-pc.no-ip.com. this way you wouldn't have to worry of not being able to connect to her pc if her ipaddress changes.

It doesn't matter whether you're using static or dynamic ip... as long as she added your (ip address) from her configuration on vnc server. My concerns is she having an public ip address? coz if not, you can't access to her. It should have an public ip address...

even NETMEETING wud do... kuti if you have a router, because you have to open ports being used for communication.

    VNC is easy

from start button, go to RUN, type "cmd". From ms-dos promp, type "ipconfig". Check her ip address. Private IP address(IANA) uses 192.168.X.X 172.16.X.X 10.X.X.X. It should not be this way...

Some subscription-based services are available out there, and although I haven't personally tried it out, gotomypc is offering a 30 day free use of its service @ https://www.gotomypc.com/tr/ggp/BL/p...ompare4lp.tmpl. Again, I haven't tried it out, but it appears to be able to work around routers, firewalls, etc.
