    Default ininglis

    Ngano ang mga tawo nga maayo mag ininglis dali raman makakita og trabaho? Pangutana sa mga taw nga kahibaw mag ininglis, manaway ba mo sa tawo na di hanas og ininglis? Sa mga tawo nga di hanas og ininglis, sa inyong panan.aw kung ang tawo hanas sa ininglis dili ni siya makabayan or nationalistic?

    As an employer, I find it advantageous because:

    1. they can communicate better with other employees;
    2. they can communicate better with clients;
    3. they can express themselves better than others;
    4. they are the ones who exerted effort in studying, that shows their dedication to hard work.

    This is not a personal opinion, but a personal observation. The answer is yes. Illiteracy conveys idiocy. Back in elementary, high school, college, and even presently in a job, there's always something funny about a person who does not know how to speak English. There is absolutely no reason why a Filipino can't speak English.

    It does not necessarily hold true. Speaking English nowadays is a necessity and a requirement. If you want to nab a high paying job, fluency in English is more than likely required. On a side note, having lived and worked abroad, I encountered a lot of Filipinos who still don't know how to speak fluent English (grammar and accent) even if they've lived there for decades. Surprisingly noticeable are Filipinos abroad who would always assert to speak English to you, even if there's only the two of you.

    Actually, being fluent in speaking English is not the basis of how nationalistic you are. As a matter of fact, it would be a great pride in your part if you can speak English fluently. Imagine, you are a Filipino and yet, you can speak English better than other foreign citizens??
