Ask lang ko mga boss if mag ugrade ko ug processor from Dual Core to Quad Core do I need to re-install my OS or dretso na ni siya? I now I may sound noob to this one pero nanigurado lang ko daan. Hehehe. Salamat daan sa mga tubag.

dili naka mag usab ug install sa imung os.
mo ask ra na siya ug restart ur pc...

If ever dili ka kalahos sa desktop. Restart lang nya press F8 inig boot. Go to safemode ug install the chipset drivers etc., Take note pud sa SATA mode sa bios if AHCI ba or IDE. if IDE mode sya before i set jud sa IDE sa bios sa current set-up nimo.

no need to back up. it's just like changing your RAMs, or changing a DVD drive. Though on some occasions, you have to reset the multiplier in the BIOS if it was (manually) set for your previous processor.

If you do special stuff sa imong current dual core sa BIOS, before changing processors set it to default or fail safe settings basin dili na mo boot sa imong quad core. Kapoy ra ba og balik2x trabaho.
