Both hospitals are cheaper than CDH or Chong Hua, with Perpetual being a bit pricey than SVGH. Parking would be a problem with both. Perpetual's security and safety would be better and it is classier. SVGH can be classified as "pang masa".

Before settling with where to give birth, the best person to ask would be your OB. Your OB has a designated hospital where he/she do the operation. There are hospitals that your OB may not be permitted to do so.

Another consideration you should make is your condition. Ask yourself these questions:

    1. After an ultrasound, is the orientation of my infant putting the perceived labor at risk?
    2. Do I have conditions that may affect the success or prognosis of my labor?

    Weigh those factors before deciding.

Thanks! My OB did mention we could use SVGH's facility and chong hua doctors will be the ones to operate.

You're most welcome. I strongly advise you to be cautious with lying-in clinics as well. It would be better if you could ask your doctor to have you at a tertiary care hospital. When pre-eclampsia sets in or the baby's vitals drop and would necessitate a cesarean delivery (CS), you're better off with a bigger hospital with all the necessary equipment.

Let's hop and pray for a normal spontaneous vaginal delivery (NSVD).

Is it a girl or a boy?

Usually a CS would require an OB-Gyn, an anesthesiologist, and a pediatrician. Depending on the PF of each, it could amount to PHP100k to PHP180k.
