Basketball fans were doubly disappointed Tuesday night after two of the biggest names headlining the PLDT Home Last Home Stand Charity Event were unable to make it to Manila at the last minute. To make matters worse, the scheduled exhibition game between Team Fibr All Stars and Gilas Pilipinas did not take place, with players from both sides participating in practice drills instead.

However, the much-anticipated game, including the scheduled side events such as the three-point shootout and the slam dunk exhibition, did not push through. Instead all the players executed practice drills, much to the chagrin of the crowd, which started booing.

Blake Griffin and Paul George inform that they are not coming at the last tick of the clock.

Puede daw nila i refund...but before they can ask for refund they have to think twice kai charity game and would benefit the victims of the typhoon....blackmail? yes the purpose is good, but people also work hard for that money and the organizer should deliver what the people expect on that event and not making excuses....

naluoy nalang ko sa mga fans specially katung nakapalit ug tag 20k na tickets wala nalang jud nila gesulti daan na drills ra d i ni, gepakonsensya pajud nila katung ganahan mu refund kay charity lage kuno for yolanda luslos ani nila oi paka uwaw ra tawn.. ako gani na gatan aw ra sa tv medyo disappoint gani ko kana pa nuong naa ka didto nya nipalit pajud ka ug tickets.. kanang mga fans wala mana nibayad jud for charity ang main reason jud ana mao nipalit sa ticket is para makakita sa ilang mga idol sa NBA basketball na makig sangka 5on5 vs gilas.. naunsa naman tawn ni sila oi maypa ''last home stand'' pa sila na nahibaw an mao ra d i to bisan 3point shootout wala jud pakonswelo nalang unta sa mga fans na niadto didto..

wala d i ni gi settle sa mga organizer ani? nganong naabot man sa in ani? ang NBA man jud daw nipugong sa mga all star player nila sato pa dapat kung naay in ani na problems ge ayos tani sa mga nagpa simuno aning last home stand kuno sa wala pa naabot ni nga event para pud di na muasa ang mga fans! syempre ga expect jud baya na sila ug games.. mao cguro ni backout c paul pierce, paul george and blake griffin di guro nahan magdagan dagan ra..hehe

This event is an epil fail like the Gilas will be at the World Cup. Book it...

kinsa man intawn taohana ang nag organized ani nga event??..... they should've known nga bisag bayran pa nilag $500k each ang NBA players, di na cla basta2x mka duwa ug charity game unless it is sanctioned by the NBA itself!.... or unless naay lockout....


karon ni offer tuod ug full refund ang PLDT.... but would they also pay for the expenses atong mga gikan pas lagyong lugar?.... plane tickets, hotel accommodation etc etc.... tabla raman nig gi DEFRAUD nila ang public.... unya ngpa konsensya pa jd cla nga "proceeds will go to charity".... pastilan!....
