Music Therapy Workshop (As of June 26, Workshop is full --50 pax--, any reservation will be for Wait Listing)
Date: July 7, 2014 Monday
Time: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Venue: Ecotech Center, Sudlon Lahug
Admission: P500.00 (Covers snacks, lunch and handouts)

Note: Music Therapy Workshop participants must attend the Music Therapy Seminar

Workshop Speaker
Ms. Annette S. Asuncion, a music therapist and special education at Connolly Middle School in Tempe, Arizona, USA. She is also currently a visiting professor and faculty member at St. Paul Universiy Manila. She received her Masters of Arts (Major in Music Therapy) from New York University, and acquired her Masters of Science (Major in Educational Leadership) from Baruch College, City University of New York. She has received various prestigious awards, some of which are:

- May 2014 East Valley Council for Exceptional Children Award for Outstanding Collaborative Team.
- 2013 Tempe Diablos Excellence in Education Award, "Teacher of the Year", Tempe Elementary School District, USA
- National Board Certified Teacher for Exceptional Needs Specialist/Early Childhood Through Adulthood. Only 3-5% of educators in the USA have achieved such credential.
- In 2011, Tempe Sister Cities delegate to Germany. Representing Arizona and the United States of America. She visited various schools in Germany, and talked about the US educational system and culture.
