Do you believe in the mystical number 23?

Some people believe that there is a something behind the number 23. I will give some examples:

2 divided by 3 equals 666. The number of the beast

The Mayan Calendar ends on the year 2012. Which is 2+0=2, 1+2=3 Results to 23

The 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. 09-11-2001 which is 9+11=20, 2+1=3. Results to 20+3 equals 23

The greatest basketball player in the world, Michael Jordan wears the number 23.

with regard to the number 23 itself, no, i don't believe it. basically anything can become the number 23 (or any other number for that matter) if you exhaust all possible mathematical equations just to get to that number.

like for example

The Mayan Calendar ends on the year 2012. Which is 2+0=2, 1+2=3Results to 23

2012 could add up to 5, end of story.

The 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. 09-11-2001 which is 9+11=20, 2+1=3. Results to 20+3 equals 23

why not 9 - 11 - 2001? or 9/11/2001? or 9*11*2001?

numbers are much too easy to manipulate just to get to the number we want, in my opinion.
