Hi bai... I'm Stephen from the Feast (Bo Sanchez), I am based here sa Cebu. Bo is such an inspiration to me and to many others who are blessed sa iya mga talks. Yes, Toastmasters is one nga makatabang gyud. I tried to be a part of the group but wala pa gyud nahitabo.. Hopefully soon... busy lang gyud.

I've never tried public speaking, however I've handled classes before since I was a student teacher. It's super nervous at first try, however after several speech, it gets easier and more conversational.

Also, I'm about to have a public speech too with my Alma Mater, the schedule is yet to be set, but I'm preparing for it.

One thing that made us fear public speaking is the fear of the unknown. Hence, my recommendation to become a better public speaker is to prepare for your speech. The more prepared you are, the lesser the fear

common denominator is stage freight - once it gets in to you, the words wont come out, and minds get black out. If you overcome stage freight then expect your speech to be fun and enjoyable =D

Suway ug observe sa Toastmasters boss kay kana ilaha i-sugba jud ka hangtud mawagtang na imong fears.. Been there and done that dako kau akong pasalamat aning Toastmasters pud =D

sakto gyud. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. Para pud nako, in my experience, walay maka.pildi sa preparation. Dapat prepared ka in terms of techniques, your material, the skills. Mao man mahadlok gyud ta kay usually d man gud ta kahibalo unsay i.expect and unsa gyuy buhaton.

Practice lang bai. Mao ra gyud na ako masulti.

Read books and join Toastmasters. It's always good to have somebody or better yet a group who can help you.
