well if youre pertaining to the voice.. MAYBE... but you must also take to consideration that Avril, and Branch are solo artist... PARAMORE is band thus you need to appreciate the band as a whole...

I dont have anything against Avril or Branch... i listen to them personally...

But compared to the overall music performance, like voice, chord progression, song progression and the DRUMS...

If you knew TWINKLE DUDU... a local legend band... even idolized by the guitarist from the AMBASSADORS... and a band thats know to almost, if not all, cebu band that made it to manila... TWINKLE DUDU's Drummer, whos even one of the best in cebu... would even greatly appreciate PARAMORE for its drum sequence and progression, the guy love listening them...

They got some good stuff. The new albums quite good... Love "For a Pessimist, You're Pretty Optimistic"...

BTW, I also thought it was a knock-off of Avril at first (since i was more into flyleaf)... But I listened to the other tracks and i have to say, I was impressed...
