iOS 8



Apple's iOS 8 is expected to retain the same general look as iOS 7, offering polish along with several new features including
- "Healthbook" app that pulls fitness-related information from both the M7 motion co-processor included in the iPhone 5s and sensors to be included with the iWatch.
- bolstering the functionality of Touch ID through a new mobile payments system.
- possible improvements to both Siri and Maps.
- possible Multiwindow in single screen (for iPad).
- etc. (expect a lot more features…)

IMPROVEMENTS FROM iOS7

Notification Center
- Reply directly within the notification itself.
- You can pull down and reply to a iMessage without needing to leave the app you're using.

- Adds more widgets to notification center.


Multitasking View
- Double tap home button, see a group of recent people, you can call, iMessage, Facetime them, etc.


Spotlight
- Searching for apps will show apps on the App Store if you don't have them.
- Search for news, restaurants, movies, etc.
- Keyboard enhancement: QuickType.


Keyboard improvements (now supports 3rd party keyboard)



Photo app


Touch ID (now available to 3rd party apps)
- Still protects fingerprint data, it's never exposed anywhere outside the A7 processor.
- Protects data, unlocks keychain items.

Continuity (OSX and iOS integration)
- Can answer call on your mac or iPad with your iPhone nearby.
- If your phone is nearby, Mac will show caller ID and you can use your Mac as a speakerphone.

- sends large attachments across iOS devices.

Safari for iPad
- tab view

Mail
- Multitasking. Can open other mails while reply window is active.

AirDrop
- first introduced in Mac then in iOS but they will not connect. Now you can send files between OSX and iOS.

I like the "continuity" idea... nice pud ba... mao ni ang best thing sa apple, daghan minds pouring in so better ideas put into real thing...


gipaabot nako nga technology sa apple kay kani "home" kato inig abot nimo sa imong kwarto naka link na ang aircon, lights, TV, other appliances, etc... ma set nimo when mu andar or off imong home appliances, magconnect na sa wifi imong appliances and sa imong iphone ma detect tanan then ikaw na mag configure sa time/settings... if ever you leave your room with your iphone kay automatic sad ma-off mga appliances.. mayta magbuhat lang sila "small gadget" incorporate lang nila sa existing na appliances--> for example sa aircon or TV, pwede before isaksak sa outlet naay gmay na "idevice" didto ikabit ang aircon then ikabit na sa wall-outlet or power source. I don't know pwede ba na, kay basin affected pud if maputol ang internet, hahaha... but mga ingon ana ba para dili nata mag purchase new appliances...


nah, makapalit na jud kog MacBook ani later on...

kani pud sa "health"... waiting ko ani kay sa pagka karon gamay pa kayo gamit sa ip5s nako...
