Default Internet doesn't work via mobile data. I need help and answers

My girlfriend owns a Samsung Galaxy Note 1 (SHV-E160S, Korean). The phone has LTE capabilities. Ang akong prob kay dli man maka connect sa internet ang phone via mobile data. Wifi is ok. The smart LTE sim is inserted and it can send text messages raman. Then ang signal icon ibabaw sa phone kay black/gray. I loaded a 1-day unlimited surf (LTE 50 @ 2200)

Would there be a possible nga na lock ang smart LTE capabilities nya?

LTE is standard, In my opinion lte speeds differ from country to country. but the LTE bands, and technologies are same protocol worldwide.

I usually troubleshoot smartphones just for this reason, and most of the answers here are correct. Go to GSMArena and compare frequencies if your phone is compatible here. If the phone is compatible and you're still not getting any data, check the APN settings. Usually the APNs for postpaid or prepaid are already there, you just need to select the correct one for your SIM kit. There's also the possibility that there are no LTE services for your area yet, or that the antenna for the data is somehow broken if its grayed out.

Hope everything works well for you and this phone.

I actually experienced this with a smartbro sim when I in Cebu last year. Pwerting sapota nako kai di ka connect sa 3g nya $1000 ang gi load nako. I have not found a solution to this issue. This happened to my iPad. Sa SM ko ni palit og didto pud ko ni test. In the end para di na kapoy og hasol kai nag dali ko ato nga time ni palit nalang ko og Globe sim for data only sa Ayala og ni work ra siya. Ang akong ika suggest is to test the phone with a Globe sim and see if it works. But I want to know the root cause of this problem. Sa smart lang ba ni? naa ba silay extra settings kailangan i-setup?
