Just last April, our football team went on a hiking trip in Bacolod. And we decided to go to Tinagong Dagat. The 2-km wide plateau and occasional lagoon, Tinagong Dagat, is said to be its main crater; it can be likened to Margaha Valley in Mt. Kanlaon. Its name means 'hidden sea', owing to what locals describe as a seemingly-marine behavior of its waters rising and waning, as if it had high and low tides. During the rainy season, it is possible to see Tinagong Dagat as a lagoon. It's a very serene place and it took us around 7 hours hike to reach the place.

One of the difficult trails.
The lagoon. (Which is dry during this time.)
We still manage to play football since it's like 6 football fields and with a very fine soil.
Overall, the experience was fun and exhausting. If you guys are interested in this place, just check for some online blogs for some guides. We will be going to Mt. Kanlaon tomorrow, and I'll be sharing our experience when we return.
