They don't get to enjoy the Security Updates given by microsoft from time to time.
Just expect for PH to be holding that position in the next years, esp. now na they had already cut-off support for XP. So that would mean no more security updates for XP even if it's a legit one..
Typical Filipino be like.

That's the worst case scenario most especially here in PH and is likewise a very difficult decision for enterprises to upgrade their systems to newest one. Win XP is a very stable system but not to vulnerabilities. It was reported that one out of four computers here in PH still use win XP. Yet those who did not upgrade which believe in "security through obsolescence", which means older systems can't be infected by newest threats are deeply wrong. ATMs, banks and other infra are still in risks if they will not do something.
I agree with you that we will be maintaining that position in the next years considering the cost it will take to upgrade as well as upgrading the skill sets of the support people that will do the maintenance of the new systems.
I'm not sure if you get my sarcasm bro.

i think it is not as bad as the article title impliesRains, however, stressed that though there though the infection rate for the Philippines may seem high, the actual percentage is low.
“It’s not out of hand. 32 infections out of 1,000 is just a fraction,” Rains said.

Hilig man gud kaayo ta ug freebies.
kasagaran ana mga loaded man.
I'm continually fixing the PCs of friends and family, the problems are almost always virus/malware related. It's extremely tiresome repeatedly telling folks to buy genuine, use a decent anti-virus and not to open email attachments from strangers. Maybe they think I'm making this stuff up... maybe they think I enjoy solving their damn problems.... Grrrrrr!
