    Default USB-Powered Speakers

    Hi Istoryans,

I recently bought a pair of portable USB-powered speakers and have been wondering if I could use a charger adapter (like the generic adapter for most Android devices) and plug the speakers to a wall outlet. I asked the person at the store I got the speakers from, who said it should work fine, but I want to make sure it's not going to ruin the speakers in any way.

I would appreciate your reply. Thanks for your help.
