The Power Inside Pyramids!
I would like to present an experiment for high school and college science (esp.chemistry) students/teachers to prove if pyramids possess some mysterious energies or not. I am sure that there will be no debate about this because you would base your findings on your data:
Before performing the experiment, (1) construct a three-sided pyramid (tetrahedron)made of alum tubing(3/8” alum tubing from discarded tv antennas) or cardboard, 8” high.
(2) you’ll also need a
digital ph meter(from your lab equipment) and a
compass.
(3) two ordinary drinking glasses are required; one for the control and another for “treating’ the water.
Procedures:
(1) fill the 2 glasses with ordinary tap water. One glass (treated water)is to be placed inside the pyramid
while the other glass is the control. Place the control at least one meter away from the pyramid.
(2) measure the ph of the two glasses of water. Don’t forget to record the ph readings.
(3)Orient the pyramid so that a
broadside is pointed to magnetic north. Leave this setup for 24 hours.
(4) The next day, measure the ph of both glasses and record your readings.
(5)Discard the water and fill both glasses with tap water. This time, orient the pyramid so that one
pointed side is facing north. Leave this setup for 24 hours.
(6)The next day, measure the ph of both glasses of water.
Q.: Is there a difference in ph readings when the pyramid’s
broadside is oriented to north and when a
pointed side is facing north? Can you explain this phenomena?
Precautions(a) no electronic gadgets should be near the pyramid. In fact, do the experiment away from metallic objects.
(b) the two glasses should not be covered.
(c) a tetrahedron is preferred over a 4sided model. A tetra require less critical orientation. An error of a few degrees is allowed. A 4sided model require precise orientation.
(d) As usual , the mythbusters goofed when they presented pyramids on their show. Of course, pyramid
power was busted. I saw two pyramids nearly touching each other which is a big no-no.
