SWEET INCANTATIONS CONFECTIONERY is a dessert bar or confectionery conceived in Cebu City, Philippines. We can be described as a luxury confectionery where customers can purchase quality freshly baked cupcakes & cookies, gelato, and truffle chocolates to enjoy in store or to take home.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports To:
Owner/Manager
Summary:
This position is concerned with the overall activities in the café from making coffee and other beverages, taking customer's orders, maintaining cleanliness in the café, to stock inventory and ordering.
Education:
At least 2 years in college
Responsibilities:
- Bar operations during scheduled shift. Ensure proper opening and closing of Bar
- Excellence in coffee making, non-alcoholic beverages quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
- Assist in keeping work area clean and tidy, at all times
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training
- Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
- Follows operational procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of our company
- Train new Baristas or Cashiers and ensure they comply to S.O.P closely
- Ensure café, coffee machines and equipment are kept clean and well maintained at all times
Pre-requisite:
- Good communications and leadership skills
- Can work in a team
- Resolve issues in a fair and positive manner
- People oriented person
- 1 year experience being a barista preferred
