Mechanical keyboard problem

Hi fellow istoryans.

After 1 year of normal usage, my ducky shine 2 brown switch mech kb
is noticeablyDouble registering one key press of letter A. It happens
about 5% of the time but it Is enough to be annoying. Anyone have
the same experience? I've researched a bit And one solution is to swap
switches with another key that is useless like scroll lock.
Is that a good option? Or are there other better solutions?

We have the same mech keyboard. Green light with brown switch. Wala pa man sad ni-ingon ana ako-a.

Its a mechanical issues with the mechanical switches..and usually also because of it's anti ghosting capability.. if you cant or dont know how to switch the switches, install an application that reduces response time per keypress.. but I do not recommend this, this is only for worst case scenarios..

Mejo disapointed gani ko kay daghan nko mga non mech keyboards sa una and all of them never had problems. Karon nga mahalun mao man nuon na ingani. Im leaning more on swapping keys. Solda manjud ni. I need to find someone pa to do the soldering for me.

nakabantay manko nga this problem started when i was cleaning my whole pc and na bawog ang cable connector sa ako keyboard. i thought about replacing the cable first before going with the switch swapping. after replacing the cable connector, it seems the problem has not come back. i have typed "a" and "space" like this..... a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a.... for almost two pages without encountering any double registration. hopefully solved na jud ni.

i just really cannot yet believe nga bent connector ang maka ingon nga mag double register ako letter "a". and also nganong letter "a" raman jud. but replacing the cable connector seems to have solved the problem. (so far so good paman)
