Default PS3 Fan Pins Ripped Off Motherboard HELP!!

    Hi Guys!

I recently cleaned my PS3 because it is lagging frequently these days so I did what I saw in youtube, but unfortunately, I carelessly ripped off the pins of the fan off the motherboard. I tried searching on the net for fix, but nothing helped me. I tried bypassing it by directly connecting the wires of the fans through the pins located on the back of the motherboard, but still it doesn't work. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Normal raman sa PS3 na dili mo turn on ang fan after power on. After a while mu turn on rana siya after nag duwa naka game or watch movie. Try lang sa ug observe after turning on wait ka ug few minutes check if mu on na ang fan. Temp controlled man ang fan ani. Labi na sa imuha na bag.o limpyo dili na kayo siya mu build up ug heat since wala nay abog na maka caused ug heat build-up.

If dili or in doubt ka sa fan, since sure man ka you made the right connections after pag solder nimu direct sa board. Desolder the fan again ug i-test using external power supply if naa ka available or use a multitester to check it mas easier. Could be the fan is defective like what X said sa above post. mao dili mu tuyok...

Boss...I dont want to be rude but e correct lang nku ni....everytime e on nimo ang ps3, dapat mo on pod ang fan...its because ang gi connectahan niya is ang systemfan power slot..dili nana normal sa ps3 if dili mo on ang fan automatically pag turn on pod sa unit and ang fan is not temperature controlled...stable speed nana xa bahala na bag.o pa nang on or ganina ra na gigamit...so para sa imoha TS...ayaw pugsa ug gamit ang unit if makita nimo dili motuyok ang fan sa pag on palang nimo sa unit...ur risking the unit for YLOD.....

Thats my understanding lang dyud sa ps3 as experience nku in repairing and modifying ps3's.... So TS....ipasulda na imohang pin sa fan or if dili madala....aw...mao na pasabot its time to purchase another fan for ur ps3.... Naa koy daghan nganhe...hahahaha...bitaw TS goodluck sa problema

CECHCxx, CECH-25xx - man siguro to naa thermal management na mo control speed sa fan, naman to sa psdevwiki.com na read nako years ago. Sorry TS maybe I'm wrong with the fan not turning on during power on. Try to have it check nalang ni mourneblade00 mo service man diay siya ps3's.
