Earlier today I received a call from A.P. Cargo Logistics Network Corporation delivery that my package has a damage. I rushed to their office which is located in Mandaue City, Cebu. When I approached to one of the staff and told him that I'm going to pick-up my package and he asked me the way bill number. I gave my name and the way bill number. He was so accommodating at first but when I told him that my package has a damage. He told me to wait because they have to clear up things first. I've waited for 2 hours just to check my package. And when I got my package, I've asked them what should I do with it since it has a damage. I'm surprised when one of the staff told me that the packaging is improper. Now I asked them that if the packaging is improper then why the hell your office in Banaue, Quezon City received and processed without asking the shipper to sign an Owner's Risk document. They also told me that my shipment didn't have a declare value. I told them that I've used their service many times, all of the transactions didn't have a declare value. Now to cut the story short, they called Banaue office and even spoked to my shipper. And in the end they are not willing to pay the damage item because of the reason that it is improperly pack and there's no declare value. That time I'm totally pissed off since it's almost 3pm and yet I didn't have my lunch. So to end this miserable experience, I paid the shipping charge, get the damage item and go back to my car then drove away from their office. So warning to anyone if you have valuable items or fragile items that you want to be ship. I would suggest used LBC or any other courier that has a good reputation with regards to after sales and warranty on your package.
