E try pud iyang uban ports VGA / HDMI / DVI

ok bro, taas2x napud diay... but, you haven't nailed to the Root Cause of your problem. you just jumped yourself into that conclusion.

allow me to assist you in you root cause analysis...
    > unsa man ang condition sa room nimo? ang aircon baka? kun maka check sa sa humidity nimo, pila man?
    > unsa man ang sawog nimo? carpeted or not?
    > unsa man ang clothing nimo during that time na nag handle ka sa GPU? Cotton or jersey type... kanang gamit sa pang football or running shirt sa Adidas or Nike?

here are some of the facts about Statis electricity... again, "some" lang ni ha...

    > when you hold to any metal surface that static electricity build up on you body will be totally discharged.

*** this one, a small amount of static electricity will be build-up on the brush' bristles... but, most likely, do not have an impact on the semiconductor components solder onto the GPU board. Each of those semicon components passed the ESD HBM, ESD MM and ESD CDM requirement with flying colors.

    > humid countries like the Philippines is less likely to contribute an electricity build up in the human's body.
*** static electricity build-up is very common in "Dry" environment.

    allow me to disclosed myself:

    > have +21 yrs of experience in this PC DIY passion of ours (maguwang pa ni sa uban diri sa istorya PC thread... hehehe...) and in those +21 yrs, wla ko mamatyi ug components through handling due to "Static Electricity". i just only touched and ground myself by touching the chassis/case or back shell of the PSU before handling any PC components.

    > i worked here in the semiconductor industry more than +16 yrs... all years spent was in Quality, Reliability and Assurance (QRA).

kulangon ang 1 day kun mag istorya ko'g ESD or anti-static electricity... hehehe... bitaw, share lang nako ni ha... kay sa imohang case, for sure, naa na'y lain culprit. dili na tungod sa Static electricity nganong namatay nang HD 7750 nimo.

by the way, tana-awa nang mga technician dha sa atoa, they handle all components (ICs) and boards without any wrist strap at all...

ako diri, even on winter, mag handle (hikap) ko's akoang mga PC components without a wrist strap... do my SOP by touching the chassis or the back shjell of the PSU (kun wla ko nag abli sa rig)... dry kaayo akoang room kay nag andar ang heater... kun mag hinay2x ko'g hikap sa metal part (even on the door knob), mo igking ko kay mo piti inig jump sa electrons towards the metal surface...

    > non-aircon bro
    > harwood floor
    > no t-shirt hukas q permi dre balay boss
    > Clear Acrylic Case chassis
    > paint brush, blower
    > pc not connected to earthground
    > what semicomductor company u work
so important boss Touch metal 0r case to discharge static electricity
nka gamit wristbands bro tagam ko nag ayo q old crt monitor nakurentehan q

    ok thanks bro

    > Clear Acrylic Case chassis (no bearing)
    > paint brush, blower (use of paint brush can create static electricity build-up... about sa blower, if the air na gipagawas nya, "Dry" then, this is a "potential" root cause contributor... ako, mo gamit ra ko's blower sa mga radiator... pero, akoang tang2x-ngon from the board inig tira. ang sa board, soft bristle paint brush ra akoang gamiton... likay ko sa Dry air coming out from the blower kay "Static Electricity" generator man ni...

nka gamit wristbands bro tagam ko nag ayo q old crt monitor nakurentehan q (Yes, important kaayo na bro na mo touch ta's metal surface prior in handling PCB boards and ICs (including the CPU chip)... ang naka kuryente nimo atoang nag ayo ka'g CRT, its not a static electricity bro but, perhaps, the stored electricity from the capacitors... bisan sakto ang grounding nato ani... mama-ak gyud ni kay basin, dako ang na store sa caps then ning discharge nmo... hehehe... pwede ra man na gamitan ug twizzer para ma discharge ang caps... pero, kana lang gagmay na capacity ha...

    ok thanks bro

check my response above bro... most likely, sa kanang pag gamit sa blower nimo, na timing lang siguro na nag build up ug Static Electricty then imohang gi gamitan dayon ug paint brush... tomas kaayo ang effect ana... kun mo gamit ka'g blower, most likely, ang purpose ani kay ang sa heat sink man dba? kuoton man kaayo ang abog man gud, it is wise na tang2x-on ang cooling system sa GPU... but, ma wla ang warranty labi na, ang seal naa sa screw gi butang... tsk tsk tsk...

ang uban, wla man gyud ma timingan aning Static electricity build-up using the blower... para sa akoa, timing2x ra gyud ni pud... kun dali lang pag trace sa naguba na components, makahibaw unta ta... naa ra na sa gagmay na components ang daot if ever, "True" lang ning last statement nako na namatay ang small components due sa Static Electricity build-up... but definitely, not the GPU chip or the memory chips...
