pls help about my k800i

hi guys.. iv tried to update my firmware in my SE K800i using their update service. after iv updated it and turned it on it displays "Insert correct SIM card". Is my fon locked to another network? Do i hav 2 open line it? any of u guys has an idea on how to unlock K800i? thanks so much for those hu can help..

maybe you missed something upon upgrading your firmware.. retrace your steps and read carefully the instructions. if not have it checked nlng in SE shop or Semicon

ok thanks for the advice.. im updating it again to see f iv missed something. f dis wil not work il try to find way to unlock dis or il bring it to da shop.

i think your correct bro.. somehow when you bought that phone... its either that phone was originally lock to a carrier and somebody or someone reflash that firmware so that it can be use unlock...

most firmware updates will detect the previous version and h/w part of your phone.. if it was lock to before, and now it was unlock... if you ran the update... chances are you may or may not encounter problems later on when using the phone...

btaw bro mao gyud cguro nga na lock ni cya balik. nag inquire ko mga fon shops ky ila charge sa pag open line ky tag 1200 ra ba mahal kau.. cge pko research unsaon pamaagi pag open line. salamat bro.
