Mga bro, mangutana lang ko kung importante ba mugamit aning anti-static wrist strap or mat? naa ba chance ma-damage ang PC components when not using these? wa man gud ko maggamit ani. planning to buy if necessary

mas ok ka mo gamit ana boss... safety standard lang sa imong PC... sensitive man gud ng mga ic sa mobo..

for the strap, recommended jud siya, sa mat, di lang ako kabalo kay for all my life my bench is wood, XD

SOP kinahanglan jud bro (ram & vc is most likely sensitive to static discharge damage).
It also helps you to have peace of mind.

SOP jud ni bro. i work in HP singapore service center. madakpan ka sa boss mo na wala ka mag strap paksit jud ka.

ang wireless wala na ayo... char2x ra na pero mas nindot jud ang naay direct grounding. ang wireless d kaau kusog ang grounding. unya kung ang battery mo sa wireless ky hinay na kaayu then wala gamit ang strap. static gihapon

thats what i thought, haha, di jud ko ka gets sa wireless, mao diay na, so mag wired nalang iday ka TS

technically recomended jud sya kay posible madaot ang sensitive components sa ESD. But your motherboards was handled by technicians sa retailer stores without using any strap, for worst without grounding themselves first. remember they (retailers; nutech, pc options, etc) put warantee stickers to their items before releasing them. i saw them handling motherboards without using ESD. Mag strap strap ta dayon wala gani nag strap ang releasing, (those technicians and sales personel ng dili kahibaw mu amping sa mga gamit). So for me, i'm contented na with just grounding myself sa floor or sa concrete wall first
