I'd like to ask for feedback re: SkyCable's ISP service. Is the connection any good?

I don't want mobile wifi because it's too unreliable (already tried the 3 networks), nor do I want to use PLDT because I don't need a landline.

why not take the pldt dsl without landline package?

I think PLDT have bundled service, phone plus internet.

but if naa internet only service, I will be more than happy to ditch my current ISP.

AFAIK, and like mike1293 seems to confirm, PLDT does not have an internet only package.

Are there any other ISPs aside from PLDT and SkyCable?

Skycable use Bayantel who have, or are planning to merge with Globe. I use SKY and I'm experiencing stability issues right now.

Seriously Never heard of Globe? hehehe! Para nako, PLDT og Globe ra ang tarong2x nga ISP sa Pilipinas... Sky? I've heard/read nga maayo ra na sila sa sugod... nagkadugay nagkahinay... and probably Sky has the worst capping compared to other non-wireless internet.

DO NOT get sky broadband jud. You'll regret it pareho nko. Sahi lang jud mag down. Maguol ang month or ang 3weeks kung dili ma down.

they have internet only plans if you already have an existing PLDT landline... if none, you have to get one... may it be bundled plans or separate internet and landline plans..

that's a year ago... don't know if it changed recently...
