Hello istoryans na gwapo og gwapa,

Patabang ko unsay best way to test a website na live og local hosted na sya. Ana akong migo na mugamit daw og "Burp Suite" kay saun ra sya nya iautomate ra nimo. pero how do u test kung ang website kay live na? as in hosted na sya? den kung manually lng unsa inu masuggest on how to document the test cases? I would really appreciate your help ani guys. This is for my freelance web na side job. I havent had that much experience on web testing so salamat sa mangreply!

Check Selenium.
1) Selenium - Web Browser Automation

2) Just write Test Cases in Excel.
Test Case # | Test Descripton | Date Tested | Result/Output | Notes | and maybe add some fields like performance.

Loading time and automatic.
* Selenium should give you the roundtrip time duration of network resource you tested.
* Even your Chrome Browser or Firebug have those measurement.

Other ways para ma test nimo ang performance sa web app is by using Apache benchmark(ab).
Dali ra ni cia gamiton if u are using apache or xammp, makita ra na sa bin folder kanang ab.exe nga file..

They are just answers of your 2 questions.

1) So it measure on loading time.
2) It's also automatic (can do automation) because the tool allows you to do recording like it records your activity how to use your site and then playback.

For performance testing, you should try Apache Bench mentioned by reph. I havent tried it but looks promising.
