Not sure iff naa nai post about ani pero ask lang tana kog help sa mga ka.istoryans...

Naa ko A8-6600k, ang APU kai AMD Radeon HD 8670D. Nka butang sa box nga for better performance, mag dual graphics. Daun ang options were HD 6670 or 6570.

Q1. Mao rba jud ni pde nga e.crossfire? (naa man gud sa google 7770, etc)

Q2. Unsa-un pag buhat ning dual graphics if naa na koi video card?

for the previous AMD APUs... check this out... double check lang sa net if ma hybrid crossfire ba ang HD 7770 pud...

but for the new APUs - Kaveri, nice ni sila for hybrid crossfirex... way2x better than the previous gens of APUs for this purpose...

Pwede man 7770 pero walay gain. Negative gani. Youre better off with the 7770 alone. 6670/6570 DDR3 is recommended because they are about the same performance as the 8670d with 1866mhz ram. With 1600mhz theyre more matched with an HD 6550. The principle behind crossfire is pairing gpus with almost similar performance, hence any gpu above 6670 ddr3 is not recommended.

^ korek gyud... hybrid crossfirex on APUs prior to Kaveri is not ideal in real world application... it's only "good" on paper... gasto2x lang... better, mag stand alone GPU na lang... mas pas2x pa... mas gamay pag gasto if mag 2400 MHz DDR3 ram modules then APU (Trinity & Richland) rather than a APU (Trinity & Richland) with 1866 MHz mem modules and a compatible hybrid crossfirex GPU...

kun gusto gyud mag hybrid crossfirex, then, go Kaveri!

As t@ng@ as this may sound, I didn't do my due diligence. Nka find out nako about sa Kaveri a week after ko ni palit sa ako unit.

Mao ni ako current unit;

AMD RICHLAND A8-6600K 3.9GHz
Gigabyte F2a55m-ds2
Kingston Hypher X blu 8gb ram ddr5 1600mhz
500gb HDD
Generic Case with Power Supply w/ 2 fans (Dual Fan)

mag 3 week pa so murag d jud viable option if mag palit napud ko Kaveri or whatnot. Maybe mka add ko video card, pero d na kaya sa budget ang highend mao im looking at maybe dual graphics nlng.

Pwede ra. Pero as i said, no gain compared to 6670 gddr3. Naay gamay gain siguro if imo ram is 2133 and above. Not sure enough about the gain on this part because it will still be held back by the texture/pixel fillrate of the 8570D.

Think of it as a twin-engine Cessna plane. No matter how fast the other engine is, it can never drag the entire plane kay motuyok na nuon sya. It can only slow down itself to complement the other engine..
