mahal gyud kaayo ni'g mga "Extreme" CPUs from Intel kay they are not intended for us, ordinary Juans... they are intended for those "High Level Enthusiast", crowds w/ unlimited dough to burn, Businesses and Scientific application...

Fast CPUs will always comes w/ a price premium...

I've never thought of it this way.. tuod sah, kailangan man diay tuod ni sa mga scientific community.. kanang magresearch ug real time date nga arang daghana..

^ yes bro... apil ani ang mga intel Xeon and AMD Opteron CPUs pud aning scientific application...

and sa imohang inquiry sa 1st post bro LK, ang tubag ana kay... "yes" naa... the likes of bro Noy and company diri sa istorya... they know who they are... pwerte ka sipa na sila'g rigs man gud... up to date pa gyud sa technology...

and i guess, that Haswell-E is useful for their application kay naka configure mana sila'g multi-GPUs... top tier GPU's pa gyud... in Quad-Firex or Quad-SLI na equivalent to Octa-GPUs (dual GPU on each video card)... these configurations needs a powerful CPU and in which, can only be provided by the intel "Extreme" CPUs and LGA2011 platform PCIe bandwidth...

oh, this Haswell-E's performance is way2x better than the boutique AMD FX CPU... unsa gani model number ato bro keropi? limited quantities man do then ang cost nya kay > $ 1,000 USD man pud dba? but in GHz number (on OC'ing), that animal from AMD is 2nd to none... again, OC'ing number lang ha in GHz... dili lang ang actual raw processing power... kay, kun kani ang hisgotan, the upcoming animal from intel is a 2nd to none too... this statement is only true for desktop CPUs ha... dili in comparison sa mga server grade like the Xeon and Opteron...
