This is not true to all. Even if you're iPhone is locked but you're using a sim of the network carrier where the iPhone is locked to, you should have no issues about it.

On the other hand, if you did a software unlock just to be able to use a sim from a different carrier, your iPhone will be locked after the update and you can no longer use your sim afterwards.

u can use it kung lock in local network but what if lock sa other country sim bypass can not be work well anymore unless it has update

I have no problem sa akoa ip5. I'm using r sim 9 pro and just updated ios 7.1 yesterday. Works perfectly 👍

depende. kung dili ka dependent sa jailbreak apps then you can upgrade.
pero mas nindot man gud kung jailbroken imong device kay daghan kaayog tweaks sa imong iphone nga dili pwede sa dili jailbroken phone like pwede nimo mausab ang themes, fonts, etc.
