NVRAM - non-valatile RAM
this points out to your DIMMs
You can see it during cold BOOT(start system from a Power off state) but not anymore in warm boot(restart system from OS).
got ur point bro, but sometimes my machine will stuck-up into this area.... then my remedy is reboot it again...i suspect something is wrong w/ my hardware?
yes.. hardware fault....
it cud be your BIOS, RAM or board has a problem... try lang isolation
thanks bro, will try to find it out...
no offendse lang bro ha, but NVRAM means BIOS not DIMM.
DIMMs are always volatile, that means they lose stored information at power off. But BIOS keeps its stored firmware for about 10 years even without CMOS battery. On the contrary, CMOS depends on the battery to keep its settings after you turn off the power of your PC.
when you see CHECKING NVRAM, that means the BIOS is self-checking the integrity of its own stored firmware, and this is normal.
its not normal anymore when the POST hangs at this stage, which means that some address blocks are becoming hard to read & verify.
thanks boss ruel! nice info... is there any ways/possibility to check this address blocks?
anyway... i just replace one of the hardisk cable with new one, and i dont seeing this problem anymore... "isolation technique"
thanks for the advices bro's ..
