Im trying to decide whether to get a WD blue or Black What are the advantages of the Black except warranty and cache.

Black got 5 year warranty, mao ra. Speed wise, you will not notice any difference if regular use lang.

Hi ka istoryan. Yap copy ang paste rajud. nakapalit man gud ko WD blue din ana sila dali ra daw maguba. mao gi search naku din ask more information sa forums sinsya. mas nice man daw jud ang black pero para naku same raman ang cache raman lahe.

timing2x ra na oi... para nako there's no reason to buy Black anymore except lang kung 5 years warranty imo gi apas... in terms of performance, may pag mag SSD nalang ka and then buy a separate drive for storage...

paspas na ang mga bag-o nga 7200 RPM HDD karon, compared to WD Black, halos wala nakay ma pansin nga difference except nalang siguro mag benchmark ka... but i guess that's not your purpose so going WD Black may not prove to be a good value for you after all...

^ bitaw, if ang warranty ang imu gi apas sa Black, pag SSD nalang then go WD Green for Storage, nindot na nga combo
