I've had the privilege of actually touring that house, and let me assure you it's not haunted. It's a very beautiful house, kung na-a ko'y ta-kwarts I'll buy it and turn it into a club. Pwerteng nindot-a unta sa location.

That mansion is owned by the Villalon family which owns vast tracts of land. I think there is only one family member who is in Cebu but does not live there. Instead, he is in Sto. Nio Village and is a very famous and respected architect. The mansion is not haunted.

It is, however, historic since it became the temporary residence of many dignitaries way back when there were no big hotels in Cebu. I heard that Pres. Quezon slept there when he was visiting Cebu.
