    OK let me clarify.

Ato ba bunalan ang bata kung magdisciplina ta, since this is a spiritual thread I will turn to the Bible.
In the bible its thought to use rod upon your child if you love them.

13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
    Proverbs 23:13.

    Peace!

ako di ta ko ganahan makig debate nimo sir rcruman ba pero di dapat sabton na literal ang "rod" sa bible. pwede ra na na symbolism. the "rod" could very well mean a "strong warning". it could mean a "stare of disapproval". it could mean anyhing na corrective measure but not limiting it to pagbunal. ang kanang "rod" could also mean "maayong pagtudlo, or saktong tambag". mao bitaw na if "you spare the rod, spoil the child". pasabot: kung "di nimo tagaan sa maayong pagtudlo o saktong tambag (mao ni and rod)", you spoil the child. dili bunal pasabot ana sir. barbaric ra kaayo na. sa panahon karon maski kinsang child psychologist imong panutan-on, dili solution ang pagbunal. kung bunalan nimo ang bata, they will resent you for that. the child will be scarred for life and it will start a vicious cycle of you beating your child and your child will beat his/her child and so on. walay makalupig sa saktong tambag og pasabot og pagpakita og saktong ehemplo or tinarong na pag giya sa mga bata.

That's the different between us, ure not certain with your understanding, "puede ra na".
When the bible mention about symbolism, the bible will explain it.
So give me a verse that "rod" is like a strong warning.

    Peace!
