Default para sa mga ECONOMICAL motor cycle drivers, ari ta. hatag mo sa inyon tips here on how to save gas

1st thing first, para maka save ta og gasoline the best way is to use bicycle, but for those who want to know the tips on saving gasoline and making the most of your gasoline to the last drop this are my tips, kung kinsa pa maka add, post lang pud mo.

we all now what are the benefits in saving gas, not just for our pockets but also to the environment.

been driving a motorcycle since i was high school around 2nd year, I am now 29, we had a choppy then more like a mio now, only less power than that of a mio today, I admit before all i know was to drive, a typical driver.

typical driver = (accelerator, brake, accelerator, brake, more of accelerator more of brake, ....)

iam typical worker how earns a minimum wage a month problema pa nako pangita pang gasolina on a daily basis.

just last year I started driving economically, but before then I already had my carburetor change from 125 to 115 now iam using 110, i thought the fact that i change my carburetor to a smaller one i can save my gas, i it did, but still iam not satisfied with it. I also notice that my tires will only reach less than a year but more than 10 months and to think I was using DUNLOP tires then.

economical driver (accelerator, kill accelerator, accelerator, kill accelerator, brake gamay, accelerator, kill accelerator)

    conclusion:

    save gas:
    1. engine stop, when the traffic light is RED, I usually do this in Mandaue are, where the traffic light has a timer, timer is very useful, i start my engine at the last 5 sec. of RED light before it turn GREEN.

    save gas and tire:
    2. don't use break as much as possible (impossible) pero pwd, dili lang applicable all the time
when approaching an intersection with a traffic light, then the light is RED, layo palang ako na gpatay ako accelerator estimate lang pud nako nga maabot akong dagan sa intersection.
now ako tire already 6 months pro mura ghapon bago and iam only using race tec. tires now.

    -Know your route
If the route requires more stop and go, change your sprocket settings. Stock sprocket settings are set so they have a balance of acceleration and top speed. With motorcycles, the lesser you open the throttle, the lesser gas consumption is. So if you change to a low gear setup, mas maka save ka with the stop and go sa city. If you have more open road which requires you to stay at hi speeds for long periods of time, go for a high speed setup, less acceleration but you can stay on that hi speed at a lesser RPM. Knowing your route you also know how to pace yourself para di nka mag sige sudden stop ug sudden acceleration.

    -Be soft on the accelerator
Lower RPM's mean lesser gas consumption...pero stay on the lower gears and most of the time the consumption will go up. Ang trick ani is to carefully observer your MC and find that certain power band where the engine isn't stressed that much and you don't have to shift gears that much but instead just throttle play.

Ako sa karon ky I only do tip #1 pero DMD nga mag hinay hinay sa accelerator ky sige ko magdali padung ug papauli gikan sa work. hehehehe

bali pud ako bro, madali ko padong work pro inig uli nako kay 40 t0 50 kmph ra akong dagan, pro padong sa work 80 kmph, maglisud akong wave 125 og abot 90kmph having a 110 carburetor pro dili pud stress ang sound sa engine.

Know your route - Less traffic lights requires less stops so you can continue riding without the inconvenience of stopping at the stop lights.

Optimal tire pressure - most motorcycles have a recommended tire pressure charts located somewhere on the motorcycle, but on a side note mostly tire pressures from 30-35 psi are acceptable.

Low RPM / Higher gears - using higher gears given the bike is at cruising speeds (40-60kph) already, it requires less RPM hence saving on fuel.

Applicable mostly on cagers refueling during early mornings or late evenings - it has something to do with the density of the fuel, on cold temperatures fuel is dense.

bro try tip no. 2, its more challenging, just always remember nga applying brake will cost you 10 pesos per brake then at the end of the day count pila imo na gasto for doing so. i tell you 1st 2 months minimum ka og 100,000 pesos. (i know its not realistic but it works form me). for the month of January 2014 akong na gasto is around 3500 nalng, iam aiming for 3000 this month.

i still haven't perfected it been doing it for 4 months now, naa man sad gud time nga magdali kay. maka ingon ka imo self, sayang nga ni gamit pako og brake unya mo stop ra pud diay ko sa intersection for about a min. waiting for the traffic light to go GREEN.

if you want to save gas, tune your carbs to the leanest setting, but before you do it make sure nga dagko ug fins inyong mga block fins because it can and it will overheat and cause piston seizure, mine can reach up to 50-55 Km/liter on an oversized 230cc honda motard bike, with a 100cc jettings, or simply buy a suzuki thunder 125 kay lean mixed na daan straight from the factory, kung makabantay mo ang block fins sa thunder pariha ra kadak-a ug 400cc block fins, para makahandle sa excess heat generated sa lean mix setting, a thunder can go as much as 100Km/liter at a gradual driving....

Driving a 2 wheel vehicle is more fun and has more freedom compared to a 4 wheel vehicle, I wont let that enjoyment end kay mag gradual driving lang ko....but instead I modded my engine to be as efficient as posslble then I dont have to worry about gradual driving and fuel efficiency, ang gusto nako inig stoplight nya inig kinanlatay akoy ma una in that way the road is wider (more freedom) kay ako may na una
