Help me decide whether to get an SSD and if so, which brand...

What are the advantages of an SSD and is it really necessary? I shall use it to install my OS...I know that it can help boot-up and shut down PC faster...but aside from that what else

Now, if it is good to have one, please help me choose between the following:

1. 120GB Kingston for 4,250.00
2. Sandisk 128GB for 4,400.00
3. Crucial 120GB for 3,900.00
4. Corsair 120GB for 4,800.00
5. A-DATA 120GB for 3,900.00

I'm leaning towards Crucial and A-Data since both are the cheapest among them....TIA

1) basically same like a flash st0rage (your flash drives) in terms in techn0l0gy
2) n0 moving parts t0 read/write data
3) faster seek times
4) use less power
5) more durable (since n0 moving parts), think about it if matagak im0ha pendrive/flashdrive

you can buy any of the brands...although i would pers0nally say (IMHO) Corsair, Kingst0n, Sandisk are better brands than A-Data.

rule: always ask f0r the warranty peri0d and terms and the after-sales supp0rt that it can 0ffer....useless t0 save a few hundred
and then get l0usy after sales, or w0rse spend greater in the l0ng run.

one of my netbooks - HP dm1 (APU), nikalit lang ug kalami
wala man ta nako kaayo gigamit.
akong ning suwayan ug SSD if mao na'y price.
kaysa mopalit ko ug tag 2500 nga HDD.
ako nang giablihan and dili man diay kaayo maayo pagkabutang ang HDD ani niya.
gipatong lang ang half-part sa brace otherwise dili even.
