Guys! I went to Gaisano Country mall this morning to buy some goods at their supermarket. I was surprised that they are already using a paper bag instead of the previous plastic bag. Woow nice .. Eventhought its a burden for me because im using a bike but for our MOTHER NATURE why not..I hope some other Cities like LApu-lapu and Mandaue will implement this kind of LAW. I hope dile lang saturday dapat everyday nalang ni siya..

Guys para ninyo dapat ba nga saturdays ra ang implementation ani nga ordinance ??

And why do the City Government only allow this ordinance during saturdays ?

indeed, it should not be only on saturdays...
if it has been than on this city, might as well our national government implement this as a whole...

Starting point ra na ang Saturdays. I think dili pa man handa ang tibuok Cebu or Pilipinas nga i totally ban ang plastic, i regulate nuon. Pero IMO, possible gyud nga mawala na ng plastics in the future kay sa pagkakaron hinay2 man nga gi appreciate ra sa mga tawo ang paggamit ug reusable bags.

It is a very good start in cebu. Lessening the use of plastic materials will definitely benefit everyone. Unta lng mag padayon ni ug dili sa sugod ra sunod kalimtan nasad. My only qualms with this ordinance is why only saturday and why not ban the use of plastic in shops. Groceries all together? Kung d gyud kaya way plastic why not use biodegradable plastic bags. Davao city outright banned non biodegradable plastics and styro for almost 2 years now and so far i find the ordinance implemented up to code. Nakiy g palit sa cdrking awhile ago and they use paper bags instead of plastic bags. Still larger groceries like sm and gaisano here still use plastic bags but are the biodegradable kind like they use in fooda in cebu.Mobile Site Preview

dugay nani gi practice.. every wednesday ang saturday no plastic. Dili lang mo comply tanan pero ang mga major department store and pharmacy kay nag practice. Hopefully maapil sad nila ang sunday, monday ug friday para tuesday thursday ray naay plastic

Kuratan pud ko ani ganina... Pati ice kay isulod daw ug papel, murag lisod2 sad to ganina kay uwan pay imo nga kusog kaau. Okay biya gyud siya, pero if huna-hunaon nga i doble gihapon ang paper bags vs 1 plastic bag, I think mas okay nalang ang plastic ra. Wa noun ko masayod if pwde ba ma recycle ang plastic or drecho gyud ni siya waste material.
